President Donald Trump’s EPA just released $100 million dollars to help replace the irreparably damaged water delivery pipes in Flint Michigan. For all the fear of the new EPA chief Scott Pruitt, it seems that, far more than Barack Obama, the new administration is scientifically astute, and attentive to America’s growing water crisis.
At the time the Flint disaster happened I blogged in no uncertain terms that the only solution to Flint’s water problems were to completely replace the metal distribution pipes. The Obama administration completely shut off any such conversations, failed to prosecute fully those responsible for the disaster, and held off on releasing money to Flint for these critically important upgrades. Finally, we have an EPA focused on the people and not getting votes. Bravo!
Hooray for Flint and America’ Thank you to President Trump’s EPA.
