In October of 1972 Albert Hammond released the song, “It never rains in Southern California” , and in that song he lamented people commonly talking about the traditional lack of rain in this part of the world. How asinine is it then for scientists in 2016 to claim that this phenomenon is something new, and is now, all of a sudden caused by Climate Change?
Seems it never rains in Southern California
Seems I’ve often heard that kind of talk before
It never rains in California, but girl, don’t they warn ya
It pours, man, it pours
Nobody is more protective than the environment than I am, and surely, if you believe in Climate Change, you believe in something that has been going on since the dawn of the planet. Now, while you are sensible to be concerned about it, if you happen to believe that puny mankind, a speck of life not even occupying one one-hundredth of one-percent of the planet is causing it, then you have been grossly misguided.
Drought is nothing new to the planet, and as I predicted two years ago, mother nature blew her nose and the “horrible” drought in California is now but a dim memory. The Earth has never failed to provide enough water for mankind, and it never will fail to do so.
