I am about to head out to my favorite place on Earth to attend one of the greatest water events of the year. I speak of course about Las Vegas and the Annual Conference of the National Groundwater Association. This is the marquee event for what is called National Groundwater Week and the attendees include some of the worlds most knowledgeable and accomplished experts in the area of groundwater.
Whether your interests are aquifer health, pump technology, purification, analysis, testing. piping, conservation, geology, valves, fittings, transportation, and even legislation and water litigation, the NGWA conference has something of interest for you. As mentioned in my headline, the Conference goes on all week next and takes place at the fabulous Westin Hotel conference facility. If you are at all interested in groundwater, especially if your community is fed by an aquifer, and “especiallier” if your community has a water-keeper group, this conference is a must to attend.
Perhaps I sound like a show executive promoting my employer’s event? I assure you, the only dog I have in this hunt is my water kinship with all of you. Every day we are bombarded with news releases about water tragedies and future threats. Universally we are concerned about our water. I promise you, one of the best things you can do for yourself and for the groundwater in your community is to get involved with the NGWA and attend their events.
My companies; Water Is The New Gold, and Glanris won’t be exhibiting, but we will be there networking and learning. You should be there, too.
