Three Reasons I Will Destroy The Water Industry

The Water Industry Is Broken—And I’m Here to Fix It

For too long, the water industry has been dominated by outdated practices, corporate greed, and inefficient systems that fail to provide clean, affordable water for everyone. But change is coming. I am here to disrupt, innovate, and revolutionize the way we think about water. Here’s how I plan to destroy the water industry as we know it, and rebuild it for the better.

1. The Unethical, Moral, Criminal Lie Of The Water Filtration Industry

In my opinion, the Water Quality Association (WQA), National Sanitation Foundation, and all other water filter validation organizations should be dismantled and shut down. Despite all their assurances of high standards, not one water filter manufacturer, or certification entity will guarantee a product to deliver safe drinking water as described by the Safe Drinking Water Act. (SDWA)

If you ask any of those involved in the business of water filters if they guarantee safe water, they will try to confuse and deflect you with technical mumbo jumbo that will never answer the question. They will assure you of their sophisticated testing by the universally accepted American Society for Testing and Materials, (ASTM), and then boast of their certifications.

However, the deception you see is not that their testing methods are not of the highest standards, because they are, but rather that the only thing they are testing and certifying is what the manufacturer claims in their literature. The fact that a filter removes 95% lead contamination does not promise you safe drinking water. The 5% that passes through the filter might kill you, but disturbingly, the filter would still be performing as advertised.

Now, it is one thing for ME to say that the industry does not guarantee safe drinking water, but it is a totally different thing when THEY say it. Please examine the following document and see that the industry openly admits, “We do not and cannot guarantee Safe Drinking Water.”

Particularly disturbing is the WQA executive admitting this to me, but then inserting a disclaimer asking me not to share the email with anyone else. Do you see the problem here?

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

  • The Industry allows the use of the term “Pure Water”. No filtration product can deliver pure water
  • The industry hides behind words like “safe” and “testing” but does not ever guarantee that the water produced is safe

2. Cutting-Edge Filtration & Purification Technology

Traditional water systems are inefficient, expensive, and often contaminated with bacteria, viruses, mold, algae, biofilm and other harmful organisms. So persistent are some of these contaminants that even mechanical dishwashing may not sanitize these filters..

To a man, every other industry exec will tell you that the reason a product cannot deliver safe water is because the incoming water quality to home filters fluctuates, However, it is their myopic view and severely limited experience in water purification that has them relying on outdated purification methods that continue to rob millions of drinking safe water. Oddly enough, if you examine the Curriculum Vitae of the typical drinking water certification and filter expert, you will find a dullard, a man of science who has done many studies and tests on water samples, but alas, has never actually solved a single water problem for anyone. This glaring lack of experience in the drinking water industry is literally a threat to our health and our lives

As I have said before, I believe the current drinking water filter industry is immoral, unethical, and in my mind borderline criminal. I think that when consumers purchase a home water filter, they automatically assume that the water coming out is safe to drink.

If all a filter does is improve taste and odor, or if it reduces contaminants, it should say that on the box, however it should also boldly state whether it produces safe drinking water or not. Would you buy a home water filter that boldly advertised on the box that the water coming out of the filter could be unsafe to drink? Of course you wouldn’t. The water filtration industry knows this and is terrified to even dance around the topic.

So, who am I to boast that I can provide products that make safe drinking water? Well, I am Tom Volinchak and unlike the charlatans who populate the drinking water filter industry today, I indeed have, over and over, provided water that day after day, decade after decade promised water that exceeded the required specification. I have done this in virtually every critical pure water segment known to man. My systems have met the most stringent specifications of the hemodialysis, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical device making, nuclear power production, mining, automotive/marine, aerospace industries and more.

3. What are the next steps to achieving safe drinking water.

My VFS technology Implements advanced filtration and purification technologies that ensure every drop of water is safe, sustainable, and free from harmful pollutants. By leveraging nanotechnology, reverse osmosis, and AI-driven purification super-standards, Our technology will be the first and only technology to guarantee safe drinking water and the new standards that we set will make safe water more accessible to citizens than ever before.

This task, however, is going to require more than just our new technology. It is going to require government oversight with never before regulations and standards applicable to filter manufacturers. It will require changes in the way we build homes and kitchens to allow proper space, and proper cabinetry for point of use filters. It will also require that we dismantle the entire drinking water filter industry as it exists today. It is time to drain yet another swamp.

Perhaps the most earthshattering reality that we must come to accept is that never again will our water sources be free of contamination. Point Of Use (POU) home systems were once considered a luxury, but with the increasing failures of our water infrastructure, home filtration products have already become mandatory for achieving safe drinking water in our homes.

3. Challenging Corporate Control & Empowering Communities

Water should be a basic human right, not a corporate-controlled commodity. The major players in the water industry profit from scarcity, pollution, and lack of infrastructure. With drinking water filters, companies profit from selling products that guarantee nothing of value. My mission is to take the power of misinformation and smoke-and-mirrors away from the multi-billion dollar drinking water filter industry and force them to make better products and also to be much more transparent and direct about their performance claims.

The Future of Water Starts Now

The water industry as we know it is broken—but it won’t be for long. With groundbreaking technology, sustainable solutions, and a commitment to empowering people, I am set to destroy the old system and build a better one in its place. The future of water is clean, accessible, and free from corporate greed—and I’m making it happen.
